Board Member
Growing up just out of Perth, Ken developed a keen love for the bush, nature and motor mechanics. In his mid-teens he spent time in the Kimberley studying Year 11 and 12 by correspondence, but spent more (enjoyable) time driving trucks and loading and unloading aircraft. In 1962 he joined the RAAF as a Radio Technician, spending 15 years working in most aspects of radio and communications.
Ken and his family moved to Brisbane in 1986. He currently teaches Telecommunications part-time for a private provider. He taught at TAFE for 30 years in the areas of Radio Communication, Local Area Networks, Specialist Soldering, Microprocessors and Telecommunications. During that time, he returned to industry for five years to gain further experience.
Married to Barbara, they have two adult children and two grandchildren. They worship at Bracken Ridge Baptist Church and have been doing so for about 30 years. Ken is involved in home group, music and technical areas.
